SCC is a honor of the art of song collecting which will feature insightful talks on diversified aspects of song collecting from esteemed invitees of the like kind as raconteur Hugh Lupton, ethnomusicologists Angela Impey and Shzr Ee Tan, Wren Music fail Paul Wilson, ethnobotanist Sarah Edwards and the prolific folklore archivist Doc Rowe. Hugh Lupton

A Kew scientist with an interdisciplinary background across ethnobotany/pharmacology and biodiversity informatics, Sarah popularly teaches ethnobiology at Oxford University. She has worked through Australian Aboriginal communities on medicinal understanding and is author of the book Phytopharmacy: an evidence-based guide to pertaining medicinal products, as well pursuing harmony in her spare time. SCC Pathway

The SCC working closely by Dr Duncan Williams of Plymouth University has designed ~y new online course that teaches the cunning of song collecting and archiving. Launching in seasonable 2017 this project will encourage the carol collecting movement and bolster song collecting communities in the two England and Ireland by training participants in tasks including: researching, recording, indexing, editing, archiving and the online publishing of songs and sharing them with the families and communities of the contributing singers.
