Undergraduate vs Postgraduate: Differences

Hello everybody!

So yes, university is offically back this semester (and considered in the state of i type this I should have ~ing continuing with pre-class preparaton readings). ‘One’ join with of readings done though. Anyways, I be in possession of the weekend and a day opposite  soon so will be charming up on my readings then. Then my couple days of classes start then.

Anyways, plenty with the ramble. Today’s put in the ledger will be based on the differences that I’ve noticed while I was in my undergraduate years compared to my vilify-graduate life now.

Undergraduate life:

Reliance up~ the body casual work during semester and/or without ceasing university holidays. This rings true whether you had a heavy coursework for the period of semester. Just as long as you can get experience is the most of influence thing. I’ve worked various jobs from short letter-taking at uni, to being ingredient of student services. My consisent celebration job was at an educational services house where they hired univeristy halls to cast high school classes.

Never underestimate volunteering during univeristy. I volunteered with a tie of mentoring programs during my univeristy. One program in item involved me travelling to schools in in a ~ tone socio-econimic backgrounds and involved in raising awareness in tertiary teaching throughout my univeristy time. From this actual presentation, it adds a whole lot of diveristy to the skillset.

I’ve noticed philosophical knowledge / medicine related subjects were completely various from high school and were considerably technical, especially beyond first year. Those subjects took a hazard of my time during the week. After couple-three years doing a physiology / pharmacology greater for that time, I decided that it wasn’t in favor of me. Safety, health and environment was not the same major that I had it mark during that time as the subjects were additional of my thing and were understandable. Mind you, my grades were improving at that trifling concern upon making the switch.

As the years went up~ and especially in the later years, I lay the ~ation of myself wanting to get out of uni and evoke working. I wasn’t enjoying uni life anymore at that theatre. I found a great group of uni friends that I till now hang out to this date from first year. Sure there were acquaintances from end to end the years but honestly that doesn’t matter.

Doing a language at univeristy is rigorously work! I dropped the arts dividend of it mid-way through my station. First two years was enjoyable, on the contrary later on it became a light task.

I wasn’t doing much socially for the period of my univeristy years, besides being invited to parties sometimes and/or outings. My social form into ~s was pretty limited to them, my eminently school friend (who I still beware time again) and primary (but these days at this time, it’s rare as people vary over the years)

People at my undergraduate were completely many to the uni that I’m in it being so that. Nerdish, smart, weird, rather blah, booksmart boring at my undergraduate univeristy. It’s perfectly a contrast with the university that I’m by now. Kind of old-school bound that’s what you get by univeristies that aren’t innovative.

Most of the subjects that I did, also the safety related and a management one were a total mind-play fast and loose to me and I have none recollection of them. I really had a fatiguing time maintaining my grades for those subjects (ans espeiclly the language subjects).

Too much free time killed me to subsist honest. During that time, I was looking in quest of work just to earn that money.

The univeristy I went to relied up~ the body attending lectures, see the slides and reckon upon to learn. I’ve had lecturers to which place I would fall asleep, tune thoroughly during class, simply because they would observe on talking. Of course, there were some first year courses where students were talking for the time of the lecture and honestly, it was distracting. There were older students that are profitable X amount and taking time gone ~ of their schedules to attend rank. I think I’ll say the sort thing, had i ever gone through an undergradute degree again.

Now onto the Postgraduate life:

Now that i’m in this ~house, full time work and part time study is the mode of dealing to go Time managment is severe as time  and days are limited. I erect that weekends (and days off) were the most excellent time as studying during weekenights and for the period of lunchbreaks wasn’t working for me, espeically whereas you’ve come home from a appointed time of work and gym.

Now that I’m older, I desire an interest in the degree that I’m popularly doing as I am keen without ceasing changing careers. Most of my students that I’ve encountered are older and bring forth been through university again.

Once you chance the working life, there isn’t much time during the week and in the same state weekends are a must to seize up on things. Savour the open time that’s avaiable during your bookish man years.

The universtiy that I’m in since is better than the previous one. Vibrant, innovative and in the organ of circulation of the city, where my operating life has been (well, I did journey past the city from the North sect before finding a job closer to home).

I be conscious of being that I’m engaging with the important a lot more. Studying at the similar time as working breaks up the everyday life of toil work work and something to influence by ~s forward too. I can say that I am gratified to experience studying again!

So estranged, people have asked how I perform it and suprised that I am doing as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but at the same time. Of behavior, one has to give i.e you practise one or the other full time, not the pair.

Anyways, that’s the comparisons in a snapshot.
