Some Thoughts on the Role of Animals in Medicine

In 2012, a book appeared on the shelves of plain science that (re)acquainted the persons with a medical revelation; namely that animals part with humans a wide range of sharp-witted and chronic diseases as well at the same time that psychological disorders, and that they have power to accordingly ‘teach us about being human’. From the instant of view of the history of drug, it appears strange that this is presented like ‘new’ knowledge, considering human-denizen of the deep comparisons have long formed the steadfastness of anatomical, physiological and clinical scrutiny. No matter what historical period you investigate, you’ll find that the sickly bodies, brains and behaviors of animals be the subject of always been serving as surrogates by reason of our own afflicted bodies, brains and behaviors.
